Suppose You Want to Know What's New...

Which is understandable as it has been ages since my last update. So,where to begin?

Steve is still with Home Depot, though he is applying elsewhere as he has finished his second Associates Degree and received his A+ Certification. We know God has a great job out there waiting for him and it has been a loooooooong time coming. We are excited for the future!

I am still working on my second Associates, and it will take some time as I can only manage two classes at a time...max. My major is Physics so between the Chemisty, Physics and soon to be Calculus classes I need to give each class as much attention as possible. Since I am still homeschooling our children my school time allowance for myself is rather small. ;)

Gavyn is growing up so fast. He will be 8 in June. This has been a huge year for him! He got baptized this fall at his request. I cannot tell you how awesome it feels to watch my son grow in his love for the Lord and desire to do what is right by God. He is in the second grade, he attends a home school classroom twice a week and does very well! His favorite subjects are Math, Reading, Writing, Science, History and Chess. He loves learning! This week he lost his very first tooth. A bit sad for Mommy, her baby is growing up, but he was super excited! He loves firsts. He is still in Taekwondo and has earned his blue belt. He is about 1/2 way to earning a black belt. ^_^

Aileen is 5 now. It has gone by so fast. She still believes she is the Mommy to her brothers and loves to help out around the house. Her favorite thing is fashion right now, she loves picking out her own clothes on the clearance racks at Target and making her own outfits out of them. She is really growing in her faith and is excited to be baptized "as soon as she can". :) Her big quest in learning this year has been where babies come from. She is so full of questions because after all "I will be a Mommy someday and will have to have babies someday and I neeeeed to know where they come from". So I got her a christian book that explains the relationship between husband and wife and God blessing them with a baby, but doesn't get into too much biological detail. It's kool cuz it has scripture to go with each thought. She is also in Taekwondo now and is loving it! She does very well and it seems to come quite naturally for her.

Daniel is now 4. My baby-baby is getting big...though not in stature. ;) He is working on his letters and numbers and loves drawing and making art projects "homework" with his brother and sister. He reminds us all the time that you must love Jesus more than anything and sees no problem in telling everyone he meets that the same applies to them. ;) He is taking Taekwondo with Lena and loves it! After everything he does in class he has to turn around and make sure we are giving him a big thumbs up.

Steve and I have started Taekwondo as well. It was easier than I anticipated, but I have noticed that I feel much more insecure about it now that I am older and "out of shape". lol

And so it goes, housework, school, homeschool, Taekwondo, yard projects...busy, busy, busy. Hope all is well with you all.

I will post photos soon.
